Great Food. Great Drinks. No Pressure.

Fleetwood was built to be the kind of place you can drop into without overthinking it. Come as you are; dress it up if you want. Either way, you’ll feel comfortable here.

A Little History Lesson

Fleetwood is housed in a landmark building at 8th and O, originally constructed in 1885 for Raymond Brothers, Lincoln’s first wholesale grocers. When they arrived in 1872, they quickly built a thriving business, even selling $650 worth of goods straight from the sidewalk before ever moving inside.

The four-story warehouse remains one of the best-preserved 19th-century buildings in the district, with original details like a cast-iron storefront, terra cotta accents, decorative brickwork, and historic freight doors still visible today.

The Raymonds also helped shape Lincoln’s growth, with I.M. Raymond advocating for fair railroad rates and later serving in the Nebraska State Senate. Today, the space continues its legacy as a place of connection and community as Fleetwood.
